Ruminations of Pilot the Pooch (17)
Dad is an electrician – has his own business. He says everyone cancelled jobs before lockdown, now they want them done yesterday and he’s ever so busy. He says the A40 is worse than ever – he dreads having to use it.
Mum got ratty the other day – says the planes heading to Brize Norton have increased so much and are so loud, she can hardly hear herself think all day.
I’m still on the sniff-out for this virus thingy, but there’s still no sign, and I have to admit, there are so many lovely smells around, I’m inclined to get distracted. Nevertheless, if it comes anywhere near the village, I’LL KNOW.
